What is the credit card interest rate in Turkey in 2026?

The central bank’s maximum monthly rate depends on the statement balance: under 30,000 TL: 3.25%; 30,000 to 180,000 TL: 3.75%; 180,000 TL and over: 4.25%. Late interest: under 30,000 TL: 3.55%; 30,000 to 180,000 TL: 4.05%; 180,000 TL and over: 4.55%. KKDF and BSMV taxes are added on top.

Which taxes are added to card interest?

15% KKDF and 15% BSMV are charged on the interest. So 3.25% monthly interest becomes 4.225% with taxes.

What is the minimum payment on a Turkish credit card?

If your limit is 50,000 TL or less, the minimum is 20% of the statement balance; above that it is 40%.

The maximum monthly rate on cash advances is 4.25%, with 4.55% late interest. With taxes that is 5.525% a month.
